eDream ticketed airfares have been cancelled by themselves (travel agent == eDreams). Majority of people have confirmed this situation. Likely due to FX rate was 'unfair' to them.
Direct issued tickets by Qatar are fine.

Visa Currency Exchange Rate Calculator: https://usa.visa.com/support/consumer/travel-support/exchange-rate-calculator.html
Mastercard Exchange Rate Calculator: https://www.mastercard.com/global/currencyconversion/
AMEX is reported to use the FX rate the day before -OR- uses Oanda. So be wary (unconfirmed, but reported a few times)

To pay directly in your home currency (DCC) on Qatar's site, you will need to use Mastercard or Visa. The option will show up once you've filled credit card number. The exchange rates are provided by Monex Financial Services for the day of the transaction +3% fixed conversion charge

Airline Information
Qatar (QR) does not allow short checking of bags on layovers (<24 hours), for any reason. If for convenience purposes you wanted a bag for a connecting flight later on (DOH-CAI or elsewhere), DO NOT CHECK-IN THE BAG.

Never book bad dreams (edreams) again no matter what they offer. They've been on my blacklist for awhile

This is still available ex-HBE for ~$1,500 through EOS, although positioning may be less than ideal.

that's one - or those are ones - that have come and gone before. Puzzling.

But the wider network is open for business: certainly Bangkok, which is the focus of this thread.

Definitely the focus of this thread, but still the best offers have always been more exotic and expensive destinations... i mean, i wouldn't endure CAI just to get to BKK QR: CAI-BKK €1600 rt in F (A class) - FlyerTalk Forums (23)

The 300-post thread is testament to the many for whom Bangkok is still not jaded: it appears exotic enough, and at times cheap enough, to be worth the Cairo faff.

If you are interested in GRU then you might look at his thread http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/premi...a-1-500-j.html.

It occasionally throws up very good AA fares to GRU, EZE and SCL. The joy being departures from easy to get to European airports AND the possibility of stop-offs in the US.

A380 replaced with 777 on my dates. Rebooked into J.

QR: "We offer the same quality of service in business class, therefore, there really is no differences between what the passenger booked and what we have accomodated him in"

Me: No thanks (but with more graphic language).

Ticket refunded.

Or you could simply request to be reaccomodated on another flight operated by an A380. I think every day still has at least one A380 service on DOH-BKK-DOH (some have two) and QR were happy to change the travel dates or flight times when I asked.

There were 3 flights on my travel date, and all were 777s. No luck there. QR: CAI-BKK €1600 rt in F (A class) - FlyerTalk Forums (33)

Oh I guess i got lucky, I flew this fare last week, my 1st First Class experience, the 2 doh-bkk legs were on a380. Loved it.

Just missed the last leg to CAI because we had 3 hours delay (sick passenger off loading). Now just negotiating missed miles.

Same happend to me and my friend all flights changed to 777 QR: CAI-BKK €1600 rt in F (A class) - FlyerTalk Forums (38)QR: CAI-BKK €1600 rt in F (A class) - FlyerTalk Forums (39)

We were giving the option of a full refund, change the date 21 days +- or change departure and destination within 500 miles(Totally useless)
