My favorite thing about summer is all the delicious fruit. It’s still pretty chilly here in Utah but I was craving some summertime food.

I decided to give this Strawberry Salsa a try and boy was it delicious. I have found my new favorite summer snack.

This is a perfect healthy snack to make if you’re looking to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Pair it with some tortilla chips and you are set. Can’t wait to bring this to our girls day next week with all the sisters, they are going to love it.

It only takes a few minutes to throw together, and is a hit every time. All the fresh fruit flavors, combined with the salty chips, will take your taste buds to a whole new level.

What else could I serve this strawberry salsa with?

I love this salsa, because it is so versatile. You can serve it with so much. Here are a few of my favorite recommendations to serve with this salsa:

Cinnamon Sugar Chips: If you are looking to make this salsa, a dessert salsa, we recommend taking out the onion and jalapeño, and adding a teaspoon of sugar.

Serve it with some cinnamon and sugar tortilla chips. You will love it.

Looking for a Cinnamon Sugar Chip recipe? Here is what I recommend:

  1. Cut up a tortilla into strips.
  2. Spread a light layer of butter over each strip, and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
  3. Place on a sprayed baking pan, and bake at 350 degrees for 9 minutes.
  4. Serve and dip.

Grilled Chicken: I love grilled chicken, especially in the summer. One combination you need to try, if you haven’t yet, is fruit salsa and grilled chicken.

One of our favorite grilled chicken recipes, is our Grilled Huli Huli Chicken. It is marinated in pineapple juice, and pair perfectly with this strawberry salsa.

Yum! This would taste amazing on some grilled chicken! I will definitely be trying this recipe :)

  2. Lisa says:

Try serving it with cinnamon-sugar tortilla chips. Lightly brush flour tortillas with melted butter, then sprinkle on cinnamon & sugar. Cut into triangles & line them on a baking sheet to crisp them up. 325 oven for 8-10 mins (more or less). Keep a close eye on them so they don't burn.
