  • When it came to creating new pages for My Doctor Online, most of the requests came from the doctors. When I began at Kaiser Permanente, the main request was to create “care packages/sites” for specific illnesses. We created pages for various surgeries, prediabetes, diabetes, and other illnesses. The main challenge we faced when creating these packages was finding a design that was able to display the vast amount of content that was available. We strived to do this in a clean, intuitive, user-centered manner that would make the stakeholders happy. Our process included an iterative process where we would design, get feedback from our leads and user research, then iterate again until the stakeholders were happy. These pages as well as the corresponding outreach led to an marked increase of traffic to My Doctor Online.
