- Attach eyes to front of the hat with white yarn, and a yarn needle.
- With 2 small black buttons, black yarn (or thread) and a yarn needle (or small needle).
- Attach the black buttons to the white eyes.
Smile
Surface crochet a smile with black yarn.

Heart
With red yarn.
ch 4
Round 1: (all worked in the 4th ch from hook) 3 trc, 4 dc, trc, 4 dc, 3 trc, ch 3, join in the middle circle, cut yarn, fasten off, weave ends
Attaching Hearts and Antennas
- Put the hearts together
- Begin to weave the hearts together with red yarn and a yarn needle at the top of the hearts.
- Put the antenna in between the hearts,
- Continue sewing the hearts together (make sure to sew through the antenna as well so it doesn't come off.)
- Repeat the same process with the other antenna.
- Attach the antennas to the top of the hat with black yarn and a yarn needle.
